Born and raised in Chicago, Douglas graduated with a BA in Finance from the University of Kansas in 2000. He clerked for a commodity brokerage firm at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and at the Kansas City Board of Trade while in college. Here he learned the intricacies of statistical analysis and open outcry market conditions. After graduating, Douglas began working in sales with IBM, where he consistently reached over 120 percent of his quota. He began originating mortgage loans in 2002 with RMC Vanguard and hit the ground running, being one of the top 5 producers out of over 7,500 loan officers in the nation affiliated with the Lending Tree network since that time.

Douglas shares " I am dedicated to my clients interests. To exceed my targets, I know I have to provide the best service with the best price, making myself available to my borrowers at all times." Douglas believes this makes the mortgage transaction a smooth and pleasant one.

Douglas is the proud father of a beautiful daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys family time, traveling, keeping up with college and professional sports, and the outdoors.
