A fifth Generation Texan, John attended Springhill College in Mobile, Alabama. He earned his BA in Organizational Psychology and his MS in Sports Medicine, joining his two passions for people and physical fitness.

John enlisted in the US Marine Corps and served in active duty in Desert Storm. He continued his education after military service gaining his MBA in Finance from St. Xavier's University in Paris, France. Working as a financial analyst, John missed his interaction of working with people. He transferred his financial acumen and life experience and began his career in the mortgage industry.

John is a Presidents Club member of the Lending Tree network. According to Theresa Bennett of Lending Tree "There are about 6,000 active loan officers on the Lending Tree network. Out of that, we have approximately 560 Gold Leaf members and only 140 President's Club loan officers".

John has spent the last six years strictly working in the residential mortgage industry not only in Texas, but he has also managed offices on the West Coast and the East Coast. He chose to leave a large national company to join RMC Vanguard due to their reputation of customer service and integrity. John is committed to his clients. He knows that the purchase and refinance process can be stressful. He is committed to finding the best solution for his clients and being there every step of the way.
